As long as I can remember I had to have somewhere to release my creative outbursts. It started with banging lids, finger paints and crayons on the walls, myself, or anything that would hold still long enough for me to alter it.
Well, guess what… I am still altering everything I can, only now I am using more sophisticated tools.
I always had my nose in anything that involved food.
I followed my Grandmother and mother around the kitchen, and yes, we all wore dresses when we cooked.
In later years, I traded my pretty dresses in for mismatched clothes and chef’s whites.
My cooking and artistic inspirations come from as far away as my travels across the globe and as close as my kitchen. Over the last 34+ years, I have been working as a graphic artist, sometimes at home and sometimes for the major networks (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX & ESPN). I have had the privilege of working on the Academy Awards, Super Bowls, as well as the Olympic Games in four countries. Along the way, I collected nine Emmys in the field of Art, Design & Graphics in the sports and entertainment field.
As a creative art director, I pioneered the layout of a newspaper publication called Real Life & Times.
As an artist, I have created and illustrated a children’s book called “Being Grown-Up is Not What I Thought.”
In addition, I have also traveled to 58 countries and multiple third world countries on adventurous humanitarian trips.
As a culinary explorer, I have taken Pro Chef 1 & 2 Courses at New School of Cooking in Culver City… not to mention numerous cooking classes around the world.
I am currently enrolled in Food Future Institute’s Plant-Based Online School.
I am also involved with food photography, recipe testing, recipe development, product testing, brand promotion and content development.
