The New Year is almost here so I thought we would take a look back at the top 13 posts of 2013. Thanks to all my readers who made this year of blogging so much fun.
#13 | Grandma Clark’s Danish Puff
I will always treasure this recipe and the memories that go with it.
#12 | Chai Tea Cookies
These cookies put the fun back into having an afternoon tea.
I don’t think I have ever had this much fun making a salad before!
#10 | Duck Breast with Pomegranate Reduction
This recipe is one of my favorites for special dinners.
I learned how to make this at On Rue Tatin with Susan Herrmann Loomis.
#9 | Kale Salad with Blue Cheese & Dates
I am not sure if the recipe or my cat was the star of this post…
#8| Deviled Green Eggs and Ham
This recipe is simply fun and delicious.
#7 | Orange Posset & Blackberry Compote
This tangy pudding & sweet berry combination makes a delicious dessert.
#6 | Toast Skagen (Swedish Shrimp Salad)
I failed at several Swedish recipes before finding this gem.
#5 | Mini Spanish Potato Tortilla
These bite-sized appetizers are perfect warm or at room temperature.
#4 | Roasted Cherries with Salmon
Bing cherries are sweet, yet when you roast them, their tangy essence emerges.
This makes a spectacular addition to salmon & spinach.
#3| Gluten-free Chocolate Fonuts
Who knew gluten-free could taste so good?
#2| Fresh Pineapple & Spicy Ginger Sorbet
This refreshing sorbet is light, sweet – yet spicy, and simple to make.
#1| Baby Hedgehog Cookies
It comes as no surprise to me that this was the most view post of 2013.
The Baby Hedgehog Cookies are bursting with CUTE & WOW factors.
Quote of the Day
“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.” – Brian Tracy
…and then, she paused for thought.
