I didn’t set out to take photos of dogs in Colombia. It just happened…everywhere. These photos of dogs tell a story that my words cannot. So I will let them show you their tale.
Hope you enjoyed photo diversion. Back to more food, fun and travel in the next post.
Yum
Reminds me of the stay dogs in Italy…some of them look so sad! You can always see it in their eyes and you captured it in many of these shots. Great photos, as always, Cathy. Looking forward to your next post!
Thanks Christina. There was so many wonderful things to take photos of in Colombia. Glad you enjoyed the dogs.
They do tell a story. The dogs make the pace look laid back in Colombia. Look forward to more of your photos.
I think dogs always remind us to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. A message I am still trying to learn.
Love the contrasting colors of the green door, black dog. Tickles me to see his pink tongue sticking out. Great shots.
Thanks Judy. Dogs simply make me smile. Glad you enjoyed it.
Lol… I always end up taking photos of cats when we’re out and about… Some of these dogs looks so sad (and some scary too) and I always wonder what their story would be…
All of the dogs seemed to be well fed, so I know someone was looking out for them. I usually take pictures of cats as well, but in Colombia, dogs rule.
Great dog shots, but the backgrounds are really interesting, too. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Lynne. Colombia is a great backdrop for any type of photos. You would really love it there.
I must get out of town and see some dogs! I speak their language so borders (or Border Collies) are no obstacle. GREG
LOL Greg!
How did I miss this post? I love these! I took some of dogs in Chiapas and Guatemala, but I took 250 cat shots in Morocco! Some of these shots of yours are priceless! My fave is the dog on the doorstep with his left foot hanging down and tongue out! 🙂
I saw tons of cats in Italy as well. In Colombia there seemed to be dogs on the streets everywhere. I couldn’t tell if someone owned half of them or not. They all looked really well fed so I am guessing someone was looking after them.
Love the photos! You have a way with dogs – they speak to your camera. This should be a book!
Thanks John, I was captivated by the dogs of Colombia. They were everywhere and just seemed happy to pose, well, except the dog protecting the plantains!
